"Admission all Classes" is an ambitious partnership between the National Fairground Archive at the University of Sheffield and Blackpool Council which is also supported by the Blackpool Theatres Liaison Group, representing all Blackpool's commercial theatrical venues.

The National Fairground Archive and Blackpool Council have obtained funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council's Knowledge Transfer Programme to disseminate the history of fairground, music hall, circus and sea-side entertainments at the UK's premier entertainment resort. This will enable both the National Fairground Archive and Blackpool Council to share large resources of research and archival material on the history of popular entertainment with a much wider audience than it has had before with Blackpool's residents and visitors.

Ten themed weekends will take place from July 2007 to October 2008, with each highlighting the rich array of Victorian and Edwardian entertainment venues in Blackpool. The Grand Theatre, the Winter Gardens, the three Victorian Piers, the Tower Circus and the Pleasure Beach, will showcase high-class circus, fairground and variety type revues from the world of new variety and circus.

Admission All Classes has a dedicated website here.
